Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position.
Pluses include:
CPA Accreditation.
Restaurant and/or Real Estate Experience.
Working knowledge of Great Plains software.
Responsibilities include:
Produce accurate and timely financial statements through the month end closing.
Financial reporting including account analysis and account reconciliation.
Provide GAAP guidance and support to ensure corporate compliance.
Prepare payroll and sales tax returns.
Oversee accounts payable, bank reconciliations, food cost calculations and various bookkeeping functions.
Coordinate and lead annual audit performed by external independent firm.
Assist with income tax reporting as needed.
Negotiate real estate lease or purchase terms.
Financial forecast/budget preparation.
Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
